Installing [OpenSuSE 10.3] on [Tarox & Lightpad 1350 T5300]

This laptop is operating under Kernel version 2.6.22.18-0.2

Basic Installation of [OpenSuSE 10.3]:

I use OpenSuSE 10.3 cause the next higher version (11.0) works not stable enough for me. The only interresting feature profided by SuSE 11.0 ist KDE4 and this is still to buggy
I downloaded OpenSuSE 10.3 via the internet
Installation runs smooth and don't make any problems - exccept the WLAN configuration.
To have WLAN to operate you have to use ndiswrapper and the windows 98 driver. I tryed to run the WLAN hardware with the windows XP/2000 driver but even there are no errormessages the network doesn't work

Setting up additional features for [OpenSuSE 10.3]

Suspend to disk doesn't work. Tried out some things but couldn't make it work
The touchpad work out of the box and even better than the one on my old HP Pavilion I also use (Scroll-Area for horizontal and vertical scrolling)
The ambient light sensor also works out of the box.

Unresolved issues

The internal modem doesn't work - but who needs a modem after all?

Configuration Files

There was no need to modify any config file.

More Specific Information. Specific stuff such as:

Tarox is not a reseller. You can not by laptops direct from them. You have to find a reseller who has this hardware at stock.
I bought the laptop without an operation system in place so that all the money spend went direct to the hardware and not to an W*I*N*D*O*W*S that I don't want.
