The only tweaks I had to make was to add codecs that allows me to play certain video and audio files. I just followed the instructions here: http://linux.about.com/od/ubuntu_doc/a/ubudg6t2.htm

Unresolved issues

I have not even tried to get the internal modem to work because I never use it.

This went EXTREMELY easy, and I don't know JACK about Linux. Well maybe I know jack, but I've never met his brother.

I love my laptop, it has been a workhorse for me for over a year. The only drawback of this model is the battery on runs a little over an hour. If you are looking to get this laptop, grab a couple extra batteries.
