I was trying to submit a new entry to the laptop database (HP DV9000t with Fedora Core 6). I completed the form as suggested by linux-on-laptops and send the form to linuxonlaptops@gmail.com. However, the new entry is not (yet?) in the list. Did I make a mistake? Or are you guys just overloaded? (Don't get me wrong, I am not angry or complaining; I just would like to know...)

I've just registered so excuse me if things don't work.

I agree with the need for feedback on progress for registering laptops and distros.
I am confused about progress on my submission. Could there be a short statement about how often submissions are reviewed?

Also, I like the page with new additions because it will help people to select a laptop and distro on the basis of known risk. I was lucky in that I had a direct support in this endeavour. Many others don't. Also it might encourage manufacturers and retailers to be Linux-friendly. A thing that would be nice on the page, instead of "splash" "New", that a date of inclusion on this list be used.
