i'm just about to embark on my gentoo install on my hp laptop.. mine's an se l2310, but i was wondering if anyone had an example of their .config for a similar laptop.. i guess one in the se l2000 series?

kororaa is a beta -- based on gentoo but with Xgl and compiz ready to go --
I installed it on 3 pcs and it worked fine -- most packages are binary so it's a shortcut to Gentoo -- but it didn't work on my L2000 -- of course it has ATI X200 video which is not good for Xgl/compiz

What sort of .config do you want? for kernel compile?

But doesn't the L2310 have a lot of newer hardware? If it does would you really want similar kernel modules or .config ??

Post your results, etc. because I'm interested in L2310 -- I really like my HP L2000

if you can help at all with xorg.conf that would be great. having probs with that... due to something related to the radeon xpress 200m .... and haven't found anything online to help as of yet. so any new suggestions are welcome.
