Recently i installed knoppix 3.4 on ibm thinkpad 600x....and it works beautifully. The next issue was locating a PC card which would be recognized and work. Well obviously the one i picked up works beautifully.
SMC Networks EXCAred 10/100 Mbps PC card . prior to starting up laptop i pligged in the card, plugged in the RJ 45 connector...and immediate recognition.
Please not the card only cost 29.00 at microcenter.
