Hiya Guy's an Gal's,
While searching the debian site I found the linux on laptops link and I didn't see my A2400 listed so I decided to try and submit to the page but I reckon I got it all wrong so please disregard that email please.

Anyway with my Asus A2400 I'm running Ubuntu 6.06 successfully after first getting a 56K modem to work I boldly tried to get my isdn connection to connect. Well by simply editing the Wvdial.conf in VIM with the modem details it worked the first time. Now with the isdn I downloaded the full 700 meg of the knoppix iso and took a look on my desktop which runs winblows. Well I consider knoppix as full of bell's and whistles and man give me Gnome over KDE anyday. I'm tempted to download the latest debian stable OS and like the saying says the only way to learn is DO IT

As this is my first post I'm glad I found a forum that deals with laptops with linux and I'd prefer to post my sucess's rather than my troubles.

Cheers Bryan
