i think it would be useful to have a thread for each model of laptop that is reported here; i have a Presario R4000 and i would exchange issues and solutions with other guys.
what do u think about?

Some Linux issues are common to several brands of laptops ... many use Intel 915 video, AC 97 sound, or ATI Radeon XPress 200M video, for example

Your idea may be a good one if the moderator wants to add another section in the Forums for specific manufacturers and/or models
