hi guys great forum.

i bought a ibook g4 with os x tiger. i want to boot a live cd but im not sure
how to access the bios and make it boot from the cd/dvd drive. do i even need to change the bios or is it something diffrent. so to make it simple.

How do i run a live cd on my ibook?

Hold down the "c" key while booting to get your mac to boot from the CD

ummm, i have a ibook g3 running panther and it worked fine for me. just hold down you 'c' key befor booting and your good to go.

Holding down the "c" key like a few other's have suggested is the one way but I think you can also get a list of devices to boot from by holding down the "Ctrl" key. Don't worry, it could take a little while (it does on my iBook G4 anyways).
