i own a HP Pavalion dv6114tx notebook pc, and i am planning my career on linux embedded systems, and for that i want to install any flavour of linux on my machine, i need the guidance and procedure to do it,
which flavour will it support, and what about my ohter hardware,

configuration of my machine:
1.6 ghz duo core centrion,
512 ddr ram,
512 nvidia gforce 7400 gpu,
533 fsb,
altec lancing speakers,
cd/dvd burner + light scribe technology,
mmc, pro sd, rsmmc card reader,
1.3 mp web cam,
1 ieee, 3 usb port,

i need to know which would be best linux for my machine, rest of stuffs will
be done by me.
